Every woman who is about to tie the knot is on a mission to find the perfect wedding dress. Finding the perfect dress can be time consuming and stressful, so I have put a list together of some designers worth checking out.
Vera Wang
She’s an American fashion designer based out of New York City and former figure skater known for her wedding gown collections. She designed her own wedding dress, and then quickly opened up a boutique that featured her signature collection. She has a huge Hollywood following, and is one of the most prominent designer of bridal wear in America. She balances modern designs with traditional elegance.
Marchesa
A brand specializing in high end womenswear, established in 2004 by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. Marchesa is sold in high end department stores such as Neiman Marcus & Bergdorf Goodman. Marchesa designed Nicole Richie’s wedding dress in December 2010, and it was stunning! Their eye for high fashion feels timeless.
J.Crew
They have an amazing selection for a great price. Their gowns are impeccably tailored with handmade details, and they have a wide range of dress styles to flatter any figure. Also, along with your dress you get a wedding specialist who will help you find the perfect gown, and even dress the entire wedding party.
Sarah Burton
An English fashion designer, currently creative director for brand Alexander McQueen. She designed Kate Middleton’s wedding dress for her wedding to Prince William in April 2011. She also designed Kate’s sister Pippa’s dress. Both dresses were seen all over the world, as the world watched they Royal Wedding in awe.
John Galliano
If you haven’t seen the gown Galliano made for Kate Moss to walk down the aisle in, I suggest you start looking up photographs. It is to die for. The supermodel has said, “I wanted it to be dreamy and 1920′s, when everything is in soft focus.”
